I want to go with everyone: PM
Prime Minister and Leader of the House Sheikh Hasina today thanked the people for all-round cooperation in the affairs of the country and said that she always wants to continue with everyone.
He said, I do not want to go alone. Always want to continue with everyone and I also do it.
The Prime Minister said this in reply to a supplementary question of Jatiya Party member Fakhrul Imam in a question-answer session for him in parliament today.
Sheikh Hasina said, "I thank the people of the country because they got all kind of cooperation from them. With the help of everyone, we can make the country a role model of development.
He also mentioned the development of today, with the coordinated effort of the country.
The Prime Minister said, I believe - everyone has a collective effort behind any achievement. But yes, one has to catch one. For example, while driving, there is one in the driving seat. When he runs properly, the car can reach the specific destination.
Sheikh Hasina quoted the famous Rabindra Sangeet, 'If someone does not come to you by your call, but walk alone,' he cited, although he does not want to go solo. Want to go ahead with everyone.
He thanked the opposition for constructive use and speech in Parliament during this time, saying that they are constructive discussions in the parliament for democratic values and have expanded their cooperation in all areas.
"BNP and Jamaat were in the opposition while staying in the opposition parliament. But, we do not hear anything like this now, "said the Prime Minister.
Sheikh Hasina said the people of the country are benefiting from the development of her government till the grassroots level of the time, she said, this is the main goal of her government's development.
Reiterating her government's commitment to build a hunger and poverty-free, prosperous Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina said, "I want to build a happy and prosperous Bangladesh and society by fulfilling the basic needs of the people."
The Prime Minister said, we want to reach the benefits of the macroeconomic economy till the grassroots and we are working to implement that goal.
During her government, Sheikh Hasina highlighted the success of her government in the country's GDP growth, rising income, increasing the country's reserve and foreign investment, increasing trade, revenue, budget, electricity capacity and poverty alleviation.
During this time, the Prime Minister presented the evaluation of international analysts behind the economic prosperity of Bangladesh.
